Many higher-end or custom cabinets are built using self-closing drawer guides. Instead of rollers riding in rails, self-closing drawer guides not only prevent drawers from being slammed shut (avoiding possible damage) but also finish closing the drawer within the last few inches of travel if you didn't push hard enough. It may be necessary to remove the drawer from the cabinet to clean or replace the guides.
