Jul 09, 2016  After a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro 64bit I have one outstanding device that I cannot find the drivers for. In the Device manager it is listing the device as 'PCI Serial Port' with the following hardware ID: PCIVEN8086&DEV1D3D A quick google search shows that this should be handled by the. After updating my 6200 Pro Microtower to Windows 10, I can not find the driver for the PCI Serial Port. Searchin the forums the answers have either links that no.

  • This is listed as 'PCI Serial Port'. I have been told that this could be part of the Intel(R) Active Management Technology by the refurbisher but he is not being very helpful. Looking at both Intel and Lenovo websites I can not find anything specific only lots of files which do not appear to be related.

On the manufacturer’s website, Drivers for windows 10 will be available when the full version is released.

Since the drivers are not available for the version of windows that you are using, I suggest you to download the latest available drivers and install them in compatibility mode.

Refer the steps to install a driver in compatibility mode:

  1. Rightclick on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.
  2. Select Compatibility Tab.
  3. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
  4. Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.

Check the Windows updates for any latest driver updates.

Check in Windows updates if any driver updates are available. If so, install the same and check if it helps.

  • Press Windows Key + W on the keyboard.
  • Type Updates in the search bar and click on the icon Windows Update from the search result.
  • On the Windows Update window, click on the link: Check for updates from the left hand side of the window to receive a fresh list of updates.

If the updates are available, install all the updates listed there. Make sure you install all the updates including the optional updates.
